Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the opera La Traviata —scheduled from January 29 to February 6, 2022— has been cancelled. Ticket holders will be contacted by email about the procedures to be implemented.

Josephine Baker is an important icon of the emancipation of black women. Her boldness is inferred in this brand-new version of Verdi's famous opera, showcasing the talent of the great Quebec soprano Marie-Josée Lord.

Paris in the 1920: The Roaring Twenties. Cabaret artist Violetta is a proud and renowned courtesan. The young Alfredo is a man from a good family. Foolish and in love, they will try and rebel against the conventions that separate their two worlds, engaging in a passionate love affair. But at what cost?

Please note that this show will be presented in a performance hall that can be filled to maximum capacity, which means that physical distancing does not apply once spectators are sitting in their assigned seats.

To attend the performance, ticketholders must comply with the usual health and safety measures, in addition to meeting the following two criteria:

  • All spectators aged 13 and up must show a vaccine passport, along with a proof of ID, at the entrance to the performance hall. A photo ID is required for people of ages 16 to 74.

  • All spectators aged 10 and up must wear a procedural mask at all times: when circulating and during the performance (masks are also strongly recommended for children of ages 2 to 9).
