Voyage Funktastique hits the local and international scenes with its evenings dedicated to modern funk, boogie and R&B. A must for groove lovers.  

GeminiCrab, concert | August 29, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Montreal-based duo GeminiCrab reinvents groove with their signature “HighSoul” style—a vibrant blend of R&B, soul, jazz, and hip-hop. On the Esplanade at Place des Arts, Malika Tirolien and Caulder Nash take you on a unique sonic journey, with captivating rhythms and heartfelt lyrics inspired by the realities of Generation Y—a central theme of their latest album, Gen Y Lense.  

Montreal Loves Dilla 2025, DJ set | August 29, 8:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

For one evening, a collective of local DJs lights up the Esplanade at Place des Arts with a tribute to legendary hip-hop producer J Dilla, an iconic figure in the genre.

Freestyle stage

Dive into the festive vibe of the Block Party, inspired by Black American street gatherings. Music, dance, community spirit, and good vibes come together to celebrate street dance in an authentic and energetic setting. 

CEE. & Siddartha  feat. The Shed, concert | August 30, 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

CEE. and Siddartha light up the stage with smooth grooves and powerful beats, backed by JOAT’s house band The Shed. A a high-voltage night of style-crossing sounds!   

Nino & Electric Soul, concert | August 31, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Main stage

Nino & Electric Soul bring the funk, soul, and electric energy! Led by Nino Flamenco, the band delivers a vibrant show inspired by legends like Marvin Gaye, Anderson .Paak, and Stevie Wonder. 

Mr.Touré! (Le Maquis collective), DJ set | August 31, 8:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

With bold and inspired selections, Mr.Touré! heats up the dancefloor. From classic house to soul, with rhythms from the African diaspora, he crafts vibrant, surprising sets with finesse.
