A grand concert to close the Orchestre classique de Montréal's 85th season.
The concert will begin with Joy by Kevin Lau, a captivating work for solo violin and string orchestra, described by the Canadian composer as a “song without words” where joy and melancholy intertwine in a meditative and expressive melody. Then, Pierre Mercure's majestic work, Cantate pour une joie, a work full of optimism and brotherhood. Finally, Beethoven's breathtaking 9th Symphony, a monumental work that embodies both the depth of the human soul and the power of musical expression.
