Kent Nagano conducts The Planets, Gustav Holst’s best-known work. This renowned orchestral suite depicts both war and peace, as well as – in the much-beloved Jupiter movement – joy and jollity. Pianist in residence Jean-Philippe Collard adds a finishing touch to the program with Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major.
