Pianist Jeanne Amièle has a flourishing early career on the Canadian music scene, performing both solo recitals and chamber music. She has been guest soloist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de chambre I Musici de Montréal, and the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières. In 2021, she will release her first solo album, devoted to the music of Clara and Robert Schumann. Jeanne Amièle holds a doctorate in interpretation from the Université de Montréal and has won numerous national competitions.
For her recital, she has chosen to introduce us to the music of French women composers such as Hélène De Montgeroult, Cécile Chaminade, Lili Boulanger, and Mel Bonis.
