For William Christie, the transmission of Baroque music is paramount. It is on the same level of importance as this repertoire’s rediscovery and forms an integral part of Christie’s tireless teaching and training work. He unites with the young violinist Emmanuel Resche-Caserta, Concertmaster of Les Arts Florissants, and the result is a mirror effect of mutual response, embodied in the works of Corelli and his successors—an exceptional dialogue of which we are privileged witnesses.
