Named to CBC's "30 under 30" list of Canada’s most promising young classical musicians in 2023, Marion Portelance performs as a soloist with various orchestras in Montreal, London, and France. An active chamber musician, she performs in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States, and Canada.
As a soloist and chamber musician, she has received multiple awards in Canadian and British music competitions. In 2023, she had the honor of performing on the cello of King Charles III for the Coronation concert at Windsor Castle, broadcast by the BBC.
Emmanuel Laforest stands out for the many awards he has received. In 2022 and 2024, he won the Conservatoire Foundation Prize awarded. He has also garnered, among other accolades, First Prize at the Concerto Competition at the Montreal Conservatory, the Grand Prize at the Canadian Music Competition, the Concours de Musique de la Capitale, solo and concerto categories, and at the Classival Competition in Valleyfield. In 2021, he won the First and Grand Prize in the concerto category at the Sorel Competition.
