Diversité et inclusion : quand prendre ou céder sa place?

Salon urbain January 30, 2025

Much has been said recently about inclusion and diversity, which are necessary for the vitality of our culture and society... But how do we get more voices to join in? On the one hand, we invite people to take their rightful places. On the other, some people must learn to give up theirs. How do we know what position we should adopt?

Multi-talented artist Elkahna Talbi—known as Queen Ka— is making a name for herself in the cultural sphere, with poetry performances, several roles on television and on stage, and as a director. She will discuss diversity and inclusion with Sophie Fouron, a television personality who can be seen on TV5 and ARTV/RC. Psychologist, author, and researcher Rachida Azdouz will be joining them to describe the Quebec intercultural scene she has been studying for nearly 30 years, as well as the novelist and speaker, Chris Bergeron.

Organized by Place des Arts, Entretiens arts et société hosted by Rose-Aimée Automne T. Morin bring together speakers from various social and cultural spheres to discuss current topics of interest that resonate through society. Join the discussion to set the world right over a drink!
