Chinese New Year Canada Gala

The Gala’s theme this New Year will be: "As the Phoenix sings and the sun rises, the birds shall return to their nests." This is a sincere message of unity, hope, and rejuvenation. The mythical phoenix itself represents good luck and rebirth for all the Chinese people.

The 2025 Chinese New Year’s Gala will feature more than a hundred artists, all performing on the same stage. This is not only an artistic feast for the eyes, but also an international experience. It is truly a performance which highlights both integration and harmony of Eastern and Western cultures. Classical Western ballet and traditional Chinese dance coexist, along with folk dancing, martial arts, singing, acrobatics, and traditional folk music. A series of carefully choreographed dance programs will lead the audience into a magical world of wonder and excitement. Those present will be  left with an appreciation of Chinese dance and cultural traditions which have gone through thousands of years of historical and evolutionary development.
