Carte Blanche colorée par Guylaine Tanguay

Cinquième Salle Several dates available

Following a successful first edition, the Carte blanche colorée par series, created by Monique Giroux and produced by Place des Arts, returns to the Cinquième Salle for a second chapter this fall.

A true star on the Quebec country music landscape, popular singer Guylaine Tanguay will add her bright colours to the “carte blanche” she is being given for the third event in this series. With more than 15 albums in her discography, she is interrupting her endless travels along Quebec’s highways and bi-ways for a one-night stop at Place des Arts! Just enough time for a unique performance that will reveal a bit more about this artist who already enjoys a close relationship with her audience.

In keeping with the concept behind this series, Guylaine Tanguay has a basic idea sketched out for her by Monique Giroux—bring along an artist friend, someone close, sing a song of jealousy that she would have wanted to write, feature a noteworthy LP cut…—to which she can add all the colours she chooses to use. Emotion, discovery, astonishment: a unique moment in time, with Guylaine Tanguay and her guests!
