Berlioz’s spectacular Symphonie Fantastique is the centrepiece of this 78-musician tribute to French composers. The substantial work is followed by Bolero, Ravel’s Spanish-inspired masterpiece. The Orchestre FILMharmonique rounds out the program with Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprentice and selections from the magical world of Harry Potter (Desplat).
