One of the greatest figures of the 20th century, Bob Dylan helped shape the sound and form of popular music in the rock & roll era. Emerging from the 1960s Greenwich Village folk scene, he earned renown for insightful songwriting, covering protests to romance. Dylan's albums, including Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde, expanded rock's horizons. Though he later explored diverse styles in the '70s and '80s, his '90s resurgence through constant tours ("Never-Ending Tour") and albums like Love and Theft, Modern Times, and the acclaimed 2020 Rough and Rowdy Ways solidified his legendary status.
