Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the Bill Maher show — scheduled on August 14, 2021 (initially planned for August 30, 2020) — has been postponed until June 19, 2022. Please keep your ticket, as it will be honoured when you enter the performance hall.

For more than twenty years, Bill Maher has set the boundaries of where funny, political talk can go on American television. He is coming at the Place des Arts to present his show which combines unflinching honesty and big laughs.

Please note that this show will be presented in a performance hall that can be filled to maximum capacity, which means that physical distancing does not apply once spectators are sitting in their assigned seats.

To attend the performance, ticketholders must comply with the usual health and safety measures, in addition to meeting the following two criteria:

  • All spectators aged 13 and up must show a vaccine passport, along with a proof of ID, at the entrance to the performance hall. A photo ID is required for people of ages 16 to 74.

  • All spectators aged 10 and up must wear a face covering at all times: when circulating and during the performance (masks are also strongly recommended for children of ages 2 to 9).
