10:30 a.m.Mozart had a special fondness for the clarinet and composed a stunning concerto for the instrument, which will highlight all the finesse of OSM Principal Clarinet Todd Cope.
In this work, the composer deftly harnessed the instrument’s agile and lyrical qualities, notably in the exquisitely understated Adagio. Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony, which draws on the composer’s poetic flair to depict Nature, needs no further introduction.
