Place des Arts is proud to present a family-friendly interactive program on the Esplanade.
Fêtes famille on the Esplanade will offer a series of ongoing workshops in an artistic discipline among professional artists, culminating in a group performance.
ON THE PROGRAM
Arts & crafts workshop
Come and make rainsticks and carnival masks before you head to the brass band music workshops and the parade. (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
Music workshops
As a family, learn rhythms specific to the festive music of brass bands, then practise before participating in the parade in front of the public. (12 - 12:30 p.m., 12:45 - 1:15 p.m.)
Music Parade
Experience being in a masked music parade, among professional musicians. (1:30 - 2 p.m.)
