Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the ASTERIA exhibition has been cancelled.
The ASTERIA exhibition is a spectacular, immersive musical journey created by Marcella Grimaux, delving into the fertile worlds of Alexandra Stréliski, Vincent Vallières, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Fouki, and Daniel Bélanger.
After having been presented at the PHI Centre earlier this year, the exhibition is making its way over to Place des Arts this fall, in a new space that has been specially outfitted for the occasion, through—among other things—a collaboration with artist Rihab Essayh, who has created curtains and various fabrics that have been hand-dyed in vibrant colours, illuminated by moving plays of light.
Ten stations will be set up throughout the room, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a virtual reality space that uniquely blends 360-degree footage and 3D animation.
The exhibition will run until December 10. Each time slot is open to 10 people simultaneously, with new time slots made available every Thursday.
This exhibition marks the beginning of a big collaborative agreement between Place des Arts and PHI, extending over the next 3 years.
