13th annual Concert contre le cancer - Tribute to Queen, A rock symphony

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the 13th annual Concert contre le cancer - Tribute to Queen scheduled on April 16, 2021 (initially planned for April 24, 2020) — has been postponed until May 6, 2022. Please keep your ticket, as it will be honoured when you enter the performance hall.

The Institut du cancer de Montréal presents its 13th Concert contre le Cancer, a Queen tribute symphonic rock concert benefitting cancer research. The performer Marc Martel and one hundred artists will be on stage, accompanied by the Orchestre symphonique du Conservatoire de la Montérégie (OSCM), conducted by Véronique Lussier, and the Opéra bouffe du Québec choir, prepared by Simon Fournier. The purpose of this fundraising event is to raise funds for oncology research, in order to empower CRCHUM Cancer researchers today and tomorrow to beat cancer.

Please note that this show will be presented in a performance hall that can be filled to maximum capacity, which means that physical distancing does not apply once spectators are sitting in their assigned seats.

To attend the performance, ticketholders must comply with the usual health and safety measures, in addition to meeting the following two criteria:

  • All spectators aged 13 and up must show a vaccine passport, along with a proof of ID, at the entrance to the performance hall. A photo ID is required for people of ages 16 to 74.

  • All spectators aged 10 and up must wear a face covering at all times: when circulating and during the performance (masks are also strongly recommended for children of ages 2 to 9).

With a red carpet for arrivals starting at 6pm, guests will be greeted at an exclusive cocktail party, including bubbles and bites. You will have the opportunity to meet the partners, 
major donors and the scientific community of the Institut du cancer de Montréal.
