Future Stars' Grand Premiere

Future Stars’ Grand Premiere

Created in 2011, the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere is a unique annual benefit night organized by the Fondation de la Place des Arts to raise funds to support awareness, educational and creative projects initiated by Place des Arts while giving talented young artists the opportunity to perform on the prestigious stage of Théâtre Maisonneuve.

Thanks to the support of our partners and donors, and to the artists’ collaboration, the Future Stars’ Grand Premiere has helped the Fondation de la Place des Arts to raise more than $2,5 million. Past editions of the evening’s show have been directed by renowned personalities including Gregory Charles, Alain Lefèvre, Natalie Choquette, maestro Jean-François Rivest, Christopher Hall, Angèle Dubea and maestro Alain Trudel.

Community Outreach

The evening also provides an opportunity to invite a few hundred young people and new comers to Montreal to attend the event, free of charge. Coming from diverse backgrounds, this event is for many of them a first experience in a major performance venue and serves as an introduction to the cultural world of the performing arts in Quebec.
