Join us for a special concert in celebration of life and freedom with the Orchestre Métropolitain in tribute to the victims of the Holocaust and in honour of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands by the First Canadian Army.

The Violins of Hope, which once belonged to musicians during the Holocaust, will be played for the first time in Canada following presentations across Europe and the United States. Under the direction of the prominent Dutch conductor Vincent de Kort, the Orchestre Métropolitain, accompanied by the Violins of Hope, will present an exclusive and moving program. Experience a journey through classical music thanks to the masterpieces of Morlock, Bach, Hamburger, Mendelssohn and Mahler.

The elite professional ensemble Voces Boreales will share the stage with the uniquely talented soprano Sharon Azrieli and renowned tenor Gideon Zelermeyer. Professor and cellist Yegor Dyachkov, named Artist of the Year by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, will perform alongside violinist Kinneret Sieradzki, a graduate of the Tel Aviv Conservatory of Music, the Conservatorium Maastricht in Holland and the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin.
