In a dialogue suggesting alchemy between the sitar and the oud, Anwar Khurshid and Demetri Petsalakis immerse us in a captivating world, creating impromptu connections between the subtleties of Middle Eastern sounds and the enchanting flights of Indian melodies.

Following in the footsteps of the great traveller Ibn Battouta, these two virtuosi and multi-instrumentalists plunge into an exciting musical crossing, with stops in the Middle East, Turkey, ancient Persia and India. To the sound of an evocative dialogue between the two instruments, this duo delivers a roving, exploratory and timeless style of music.
