The Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal is pleased to present Art Pepper + Eleven. The material for this concert is taken from a 1960 album by saxophonist Art Pepper, performed under the direction and arrangements of Marty Paich's modern jazz classics, including Denzil Best's Move, Thelonious Monk's Round Midnight, Gerry Mulligan's Walkin' Shoes, Dizzy Gillespie's Groovin' High, Horace Silver's Funk Opus, Jimmy Giuffre's Four Brothers, Charlie Parker's Donna Lee and many others.
