Set up in 2018 by santur player Amin Reihani, the Navak Ensemble offers a repertory of Iranian traditional and folkloric music performed by some of Canada’s most talented musicians. Having had the honour of working and playing alongside great masters including Mohamad Reza Shajarian, Faramarz Payvar and Hossein Alizadeh, this young ensemble represents a radiant promise for the subtle heritage of Persian culture.
