On September 11 and 12, 2021, Place des Arts and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Maison symphonique de Montréal with a series of ten free short concerts and four discussions. In this discussion, we will welcome Rafael Payare, the new music director of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, which is in residence at the Maison symphonique. As someone familiar with great concert halls around the world, he will share his appreciation of the venue’s exceptional facilities and the intriguing possibilities it holds for the artistic project upon which he is embarking with his new orchestra.
