Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Place des Arts has suspended all shows and other public activities until further notice. However, beyond this suspension of activities, certain productions have been obliged to postpone or cancel their shows. The Kent Nagano and the OSM: Ravel’s Boléro, one last time concert scheduled on August 8 has been cancelled. Ticket holders will be reimbursed directly.

Directed by Kent Nagano, the OSM performs two of its greatest successes: the bewitching Boléro by Ravel showcasing each section of the Orchestra, and Debussy’s poetic Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. The OSM’s virtuoso Concertmaster Andrew Wan plays the Concerto “Adrano” specially created for him by Montreal composer Samy Moussa in 2019 and performed at the Maison symphonique.

Debussy: Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun (9′)
Samy Moussa: Violin Concerto, “Adrano” (15′)
Ravel: Boléro (16′ 30)
