Beethoven Marathon
Beethoven’s nine symphonies conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin with four concerts in three days, this is sure to be a true musical marathon! Each program features two or three Beethoven symphonies. You’ll also hear pieces written by the four winners of the OM’s composition competition in honour of its 40th season.
With Beethoven’s trademark symphonic style, the bright and elegant Symphony No. 2 sets the stage for the monumental Symphony No. 3, “Eroica.” It’s a perfect introduction to Beethoven’s genius.
