Created in 2013, the Arod Quartet, whose name was inspired by the Lord of the Ringssaga, is like a burning flame. The BBC has declared Arod the most exciting young ensemble in the world. Their Lanaudière performance will be their first, and surely not last, appearance in North America. Arod records for Erato Warner Classics, and their first opus, dedicated to Mendelssohn, came out in 2017.
