Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the GoGo Penguin show scheduled on June 25, 2021 (initially planned for June 25, 2020) has been postponed until June 30, 2022, with Mammal Hands as a double bill. Please keep your ticket, as it will be honoured when you enter the performance hall.

This Manchester trio, GoGo Penguin, draws equally on rock, jazz and minimalist influences, alongside the intricacy of Aphex Twin or Four Tet to create their punchy, experimental, but always beautiful music.

Captivating, ethereal and majestic, Mammal Hands(saxophonist Jordan Smart, pianist Nick Smart and drummer and percussionist Jesse Barrett) has carved out a refreshingly original sound from a disparate array of influences. Drawing on their love of electronic, contemporary classical, world, folk and jazz music, Mammal Hands take in influences including Pharoah Sanders, Gétachèw Mekurya, Terry Riley, Steve Reich and Sirishkumar Manji.
