The OSM is pleased to take part in Diane Dufresne’s 75th birthday celebrations, with performances of DIANE DUFRESNE: A SYMPHONIC 75TH, honouring this great singer’s rich and flamboyant career. For the first time in its history, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal will be joined, in this concert event, by one of the most captivating performers of the Francophone stage.

A blend of classical music and the distinctive pop sound of this unique singer-songwriter, DIANE DUFRESNE: A SYMPHONIC 75TH is the meeting of two divergent yet equally grandiose musical worlds. In addition to performing songs from her new album (her 14th) Meilleur après, Diane Dufresne will also revisit classics of her vast repertoire. Associate Conductor of the OSM POP series Simon Leclerc will direct his own symphonic adaptations in this concert.
