Founded in 1995 and named in honour of the Catalan surrealist painter Joan Miró, the extraordinary Miró Quartet ranks as one of America’s leading string quartets. They visit Lanaudière for the first time this summer to perform three of the finest works of the repertoire, including Schubert’s incomparable “Death and the Maiden” quartet.
