In accordance with government directives, Place des Arts has suspended its activities until further. These measures have been put into effect due to circumstances relating to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Consequently, the Children’s corner: Symphonic, the Orchestra! concert scheduled on April 5 has been cancelled. Ticket holders will be reimbursed directly.

What if the orchestra hadn’t always existed in its current form? Patrice Bélanger plunges into the heart of the symphony orchestra to explain how orchestral music and instruments have evolved over the centuries. All you have to do is open your ears and eyes wide and let the musicians and the conductor fill you with wonder as they perform works that may just surprise you. From Baroque to contemporary music, this concert invites you to savour the rich timbres, dynamics and emotion that music brings.

Works of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Grieg and others.
