One of the most famous pieces of classical music’s repertoire. This masterpiece is renowned for its raw energy and the vitality of its rhythmic style, which give it its timeless cachet. In the second half, the McGill Chamber Orchestra is thrilled to present an oratorio by Canadian composer Larysa Kusmenko, Golden Harvest. This piece commemorates the 125th anniversary of the arrival of Canada’s first Ukrainians.
