With his magnificent First Symphony, sometimes referred to as “Beethoven’s Tenth,” it is considered that Brahms picked up the torch for the great symphonic tradition. Rounding out the program will be one of Mozart’s best-known concertos, performed by the astonishingly talented Veronika Eberle, and a commission by Simon Bertrand for bass clarinet and orchestra.

Mozart, Violin Concerto no. 5 in A major, K. 219
Simon Bertrand, World premiere – OSM commission for bass clarinet and orchestra
Brahms, Symphony no. 1 in C minor, op. 68
