About Patrice Michaud

Patrice Michaud is native from Cap-Chat in Gaspésie. This is where he grew, learnt to be a man, felt in love with Kim Cattrall, Madame Avon and Laura Secord, became convince that shop’s mannequins where secretely alive, hoped to own a motorbike, became and stayed zero in all sports, forgot his asthma pump, received his first guitar, and because everything has an ending, left for other heavens. When music arrived, he started to sing, tell and describe everything he saw. He invented evertyhing else. In 2008, the singer and songwriter, went to the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée, where he came out with three distinctions and the envy to continue. Since 2009, while he was named Grand lauréat du Festival international de la chanson de Granby, he launches three albums. His most recent one, Almanach, ran a tour and won a lot of prices and distinctions.

Details of the project

With his last album, Almanach, Patrice Michaud capture our attention with fresh composed songs and his funny touching stories. His proximity with his public makes him an artist we feel close to, transforming every representation in an intimate experience.
