Taking part in a cultural experience to foster an introduction to the performing arts.
The project MUSICAL, presented as part of the Place des Arts School Program, gives high school students the opportunity to see a show at Place des Arts, learn about how it was created, and meet with its artists. Through this experience, students develop their ability to appreciate art by taking part in activities in which they work with their teachers and artist-mediators.
Includes:
A workshop held in class, led by artist-mediators (possibility to add more).
The Pub Royal show at Place des Arts.

The Show
Welcome to our home! Welcome to the craziest place in Quebec! Welcome to the world of Pub Royal, Les Cowboys Fringants’ stage musical, produced by La Tribu and Les 7 Doigts.
Based around several of the famous group’s greatest hits, along with new songs, the show features:
7 actor-singers playing the captivating characters of Pub Royal!
7 dancers performing to the uplifting music!
6 circus artists to dazzle the audience!
Presented on December 4 and 5, 2024 at 1:30 pm, in Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.
About the artists
Les 7 doigts is an arts collective unlike any other. In 2002, its 7 founders set out to redefine the contemporary circus by stripping it down to its essence and exploring the infinite possibilities of its mix of artistic disciplines. Each of its shows thereby becomes an epic new work, a subtle blend of acrobatics and theatrics.
Worshops
Workshops will take place in class*after the concert, from December 9, 2024 to April 30, 2025, led by an artist-mediator.
* With the exception of schools outside Greater Montreal.
Rates and Reservations
$28 per person (students and teachers).
One workshop is included in this cost. However, you have the option of adding more ($200 each / per group).
