Summer Break

The Esplanade, the place to take your culture break.

In a relaxed setting, the Esplanade takes you on a cultural journey consisting of brief arts performances. You can also make use of the outdoor furniture and enjoy the interactive Marche Marche Danse installation, which gives you a chance to try your hand at choreography… on your own or with family and friends!

Performing arts are in the spotlight on the Place des Arts Esplanade over a two-week period during the Pause estivale summer break event.

In collaboration with various partners, short arts performances (music, dance, theatre) are presented free of charge on a stage located in the Esplanade’s water basins. The perfect place to enjoy beautiful late-summer evenings, whether you’re on your own, with your significant other, or with the whole family...

The Summer Break is made possible through the financial support of the Fondation de la Place des ArtsMake your donation today!
