In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Place des Arts, special events will be held throughout the year. PDA will be partnering with various arts organizations, each of which will also be marking a significant anniversary.

Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts will host the 35TH ADISQ AWARDS GALA on October 27.

On October 28, there will be a special screening of Nosferatu, with orchestra, as part of the 50TH ANNIVERSARY of the CINÉMATHÈQUE QUÉBÉCOISE.

In November, the presentation of the CIRQUE ÉLOIZE production CIRKOPOLIS will provide the perfect opportunity to mark the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of the company.

Autumn will herald the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of SACEF and its MA PREMIÈRE PLACE DES ARTS competition.

In December, Place des Arts will salute the 50TH ANNIVERSARY OFTHE NUTCRACKER, a production of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, in fine fashion.

And DUCEPPE, PDA’s resident theatre company since 1973, TURNS 40 this year—clearly another great reason to celebrate!

Let the festivities continue!
