Patrick Watson will take the stage for an open-air concert at the Place des Arts' Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay in Joliette for the first time.
The singer, pianist, composer based in Montreal invents uncanny musical landscapes, harmoniously mixing organic elements and electronic textures, cacophonic rock songs and pristine ballads, all held together by his omnipresent voice.
Watson, winner of the Polaris Music Prize (Canada, 2007) and a multiple JUNO and Polaris nominee, has toured every continent with his band, as well as with symphony orchestras that have given his music a new dimension and magnitude. He has also composed several scores for film and television.
